Nicole Gainey, Owner
After working in a variety of venues, she opened her own injury clinic, Checkpoint Massage Therapy in 1993.
In 2004, Nicole had the chance to take a break from her business and travel to China. While there she studied Tuina (Chinese massage) and spent time doing medical massage in a hospital in Shanghai. She also studied Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Particularly rewarding and informing were the hundreds of massages she received while in Asia. She also came to appreciate the powerful role of aromatherapy, using it successfully to combat stress, jet lag and myriad of environmental challenges.
She brings this extensive experience and education to Chill where she works as manager, mentor and aromatherapist. A firm believer and advocate of the power of massage, she is available for brief phone consultations to find the best therapist and treatment to meet your current body work needs.
