Alix McLaughlin LMP
Alix McLaughlin L.M.P. studied massage therapy in Maui, Hawaii graduating from the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage. She is passionate about massage therapy as a profession and as a key to a healthful lifestyle. Her work is fluid and wave like and seeks holistic unity and complete relaxation. She is experienced in Swedish massage therapy, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Body Mobilization Techniques, she specializes in the Hawaiian art of Lomi Lomi massage. She is available by appointment Saturday 9am - 5pm Sunday - Wednesday 9am - 3pm.

Heather Glen, LMP
Heather Glen L.M.P. is a strong therapist with 9 years of experience who provides vigorous deep Swedish Massage as well as more esoteric forms of body work. Heather offers a great overall massage experience and pregnancy massage for expectant mothers. She provides deep subtle work in the form of Cranial Sacral Therapy; and is also now offering the New Mommy Mobile Massage session for women who have just given birth. Nicole Gainey, Owner
Nicole Gainey LMP began her adventure in complementary medicine in 1990 when she graduated from the Seattle Massage School.

After working in a variety of venues,(a sports club, a salon and an onsite massage co-op) she opened her own business, Checkpoint Massage Therapy in 1993. Checkpoint grew into a successful injury clinic, specializing in motor vehicle accidents and repetitive strain injuries.

From 2004 to 2006, Nicole had the chance to travel to China, SE Asia and Hawaii. She studied Tuina(Chinese massage therapy), and spent time doing medical massage in a hospital in Shanghai. She studied Chinese Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Particularly rewarding and informing were the hundreds of massages she received while in Asia. She came to appreciate the powerful role of aromatherapy, using it successfully to combat stress, jet lag and myriad of environmental challenges.

She brings this extensive experience and education to Chill Massage Therapy and Modern Apothecary, which she opened in West Seattle in 2007.
